Yasser Arafat dead at age 75

WOW!!

First, being a Catholic I should pray for the salvation of his soul.... Let's see here. Okay, I am ready. I have a good prayer for the situation:

Amen! Amen! Amen! and Amen!

Well that didn't seem like a very heartfelt prayer. Maybe if I put it to music.

Mmmmm......the only thing that comes to my mind is the chant in the Wizard of Oz, where the munckins are singing something about the "wicked witch is dead".

Okay, now what is next?

Okay, I am sorry. I shouldn't be smiling. I should be respectful. I should have empathy for those that are grieving from his passing. So maybe I should offer my prayers for those individuals that are truly suffering a loss. Let's see, that would be.............

Gee! This is not easy. I don't know.

I guess it would be best if I just let this all sink in, before, I offer a prayer and any condolences. I would really feel bad if I screwed this up and offended someone.

However, there is this one line in a Mel Brooks movie that has been floating around my head for about a week and for some strange reason it reflects my overall being at the moment:

It is good to be the king!
